Common items are ones such as kunai, shuriken, and blades that have only student-level health and are realistic creations. Common items cannot be trained by the weaponry specialty.

Explosive tags are the only item with non-health stats with genin-level in strength and speed. EXPLOSIVE TAGS have no set range, but victims can specify the range of one if an explosive tag user doesn't note how many meters the explosion affects.

• Small Items: All cost 5,000 ryo. They come in bundles of 5 and are the size of daggers at best.
  
• Medium Items: All cost 50,000 ryo. They are the size of swords at best. Explosive tags are here.
  
• Large Items: All cost 200,000 ryo. Sealing scrolls are here for the Enclosing Technique, and while they can store unlimited items, they can only store 1 jutsu from E, D, or C-rank.
  

Family Sword (Kirin) - A simple blade; straight in nature decently thin maybe 2 inches wide. Curved at the tip slightly. Given to Haru by her father when she successfully became a shinobi. Priceless to her.

Uchiha Ganbai Fan - An Uchiha fan usually carried on the back, or over the shoulder. Large in size; but can be quite cumbersome if used improperly.

5,000 isn't enough for 2 medium items on start. If you use them you need to put starting 10k words toward completing at least 2 D-rank missions (50,000+50,000 ryo) for free. D-ranks take 1,200 words each. Or, you can complete the missions IC.

I've already registered Sealing Tags at D-Rank for a previous jutsu I wanted to use.
