Today was a special day, at least for Haru. She was going to be meeting one of the Kage. The Kazekage as a matter of fact. As one of the elders of the Leaf Village; one of the youngest ever in fact she would be tasked with attempting to negotiate some kind of good will between the two villages. In the distant past, Naruto Uzumaki and Garaa two Kage long since gone; had fostered a direct bond and brought their villages closer to one another.

After making it through the gates of Sunagakure; she looked around at how different this place was when compared to her home village. The young woman would be escorted by two Leaf Jonin who both wore their green flak jackets; showing their rank. She would keep her arms crossed as her raven hair blew once in a sandy gust of wind. Despite the environment; this place was packed. Bustling even. Although everyone seemed a little less lively than those in the Leaf village in her opinion; more serious in nature.

Wondering what the Kazekage would be like; she wondered when this woman would have an official coronation ceremony. Of course; Haru herself had a desire to rise to the top and be the Hokage herself. But she'd found something more important that she needed to chase after. Something that someone in the position of Kage wouldn't be able to reach due to their other responsibilities.

"So....this is Sunagakure." this as only her second time here, and the first time she'd visited with her academy class before she'd even became a Genin. So this was truly the first time she laid eyes on it that she'd remember it vividly.

"Please be on your toes, Haru sempai." one of the jonin a young man said from behind her. Turning she would notice that he looked like he was on edge, and in a very serious mood. Apparently he didn't trust these Sand Ninja or even the townsfolk for that matter as he kept darting his eyes around and mean mugging people. The other jonin didn't seem to care and remained quiet the entire time.

"We're here on a diplomatic mission....nothing is going to go wrong." she both thought to herself and said aloud. "Although we are both well known ninja in our own right...It would be the perfect chance to strike at us both if an enemy was strong enough." as she said this, the first Jonin got even more serious comically as Haru let a rare grin show on her face. "Well then...to the Kazekage's palace." she could see it off in the distance, similar to the Hokage's palace in that they both had their symbols emblazoned across the main Kage residence as all villages did.

When they got close to the palace itself, they would be halted by some guards wearing white ninja gear as most Sand Ninja's did. They would look the group up and down and then would realize who they were. Both of the guards would bow; and go off to retrieve the Kazekage. Haru was a well known, even feared shinobi as she was incredibly deadly and didn't hesitate to kill. Not since her brother died. Since his life had been taken; she now had even less of a problem taking others. So here mere presence might put some of the guards on edge. She could even see people from the palace windows up above looking down at her, although she paid them no mind.

Keeping her arms crossed, she could only wait patiently for the meeting that was all but inevitable at this point.

The palace of the Kazekage was a place of safety, and because of that many safeguards had been added to the building and the area around it. ANBU was zealous, possibly overly so, with the safety of the building and her wellbeing. The sigh that left Aiyana's lips was due to their protection of her. A shinobi had tried to kill her, emphasis on the word tried, and even though he had been abruptly captured and put in chains it had caused a tightening of security that even she could not get them to back down on at the moment.

There was a bright side to it today, however. Today there was to be a guest! Letters had been sent between herself and the Hokage to try and garner peaceful times for the two villages, just like had happened a long time ago. The end result was one of the elders being sent out to speak with her about it so that they could return to the village and speak to the Hokage. It was a simple plan and made sense given tensions across the world. It let the Hokage stay in the relative safety of their own territory while talks were done in their name.

With those thoughts on her bored mind, a finger playing with a bit of her hair as she fussed with the chessboard in front of her, one of the Shinobi tasked with an outer palace guard position would come to her to announce the arrival of the honored guests. "Finally, let's go meet them. Shall we?" With that said she would make her way to meet one of the Konoha Elders, an Uchiha by the name of Haru. It wouldn't take her long to reach the palace doors and make her way out to meet the female elder and her entourage. A proper bow would be made, one any Kage would do upon such a formal occasion before she spoke to them. "Such a pleasure to meet you Haru, I've heard many good things about you. Please, do come in. Surely the sand and heat are not what you are comfortable in." The female would kindly wave them in, a couple guards following with her to make sure the entire group was safe as they were led to the lounge area she had originally been waiting for them in.

When the Kazekage came down, Haru couldn't lie her presence was felt. She looked her over carefully, her features were astounding. A Kage at around the same age as her it looked like at least. It was amazing. Mid 20's and already either the strongest or the smartest ninja in the village. Both was always good in Haru's mind. As she stepped out into the streets, they were paved; although in place of grass there was sand all around. The plantlife around was beautiful though, desert flowers and cacti she'd hardly seen up close before adorned the palace around her.

She thought about her life briefly, and how far she'd come. The oldest of four Uchiha kids. To be here representing the village like this was an honor. Although a ninjas life was usually filled with much bloodshed to get at a high level; it was true she'd escaped death many times. Enough apparently to be before the Kage of another village.

Something was awry however, as a chakra she'd only felt once. With a vision of a white haired individual before her; began to well up. Although a brief moment of panic overtook her with an eyebrow twitch, the blue markings and tattoos didn't appear all over her body and face. A moment of relief passed, although she wondered why it reacted right now at this moment.

As they walked through the palace, it overlooked the village through windows wrapping around the building as the bustling village easily megacity sized was nestled between a huge mountain range and canyons. The lobby they entered after passing through a set of ornate doors was plush yet simple, with various arrangements and something even more. A chessboard.

As the sound of footsteps were heard coming to a halt as the doors closed behind them. Haru would look over her shoulder and raise a hand, "Leave us please, you two are dismissed. Enjoy the village and take a load off for a change." as she said this with a turn of her head, the two would look at one another and then back at Haru before scanning the room. Bowing once before her, and then at one another; before bowing to the Kazekage herself as well deeply. Haru smiled at the gesture of her two guards; although she didn't bring a lot of security for herself. She was confident in those two. Regardless of herself.

"I apologize for my silence....it's just that I don't know where to begin." she would walk right up to the woman and nod to her. "Peace between our villages....Konoha has much to offer in that respect....but I wonder why an alliance is so important to the Hokage." she would think on this and look away, looking around the room for any kind of traps or threats. She didn't feel anything wrong. Locking eyes once more with the Kazekage she would stare into her eyes, wondering how effective her Sharingan could be on her if she dared to use it. Smirking visibly, she looked to the chessboard again for the second time.

"I assume you play?" she would give a genuine small smile. Noticing a huge balcony overlooking the village Haru would walk towards it, putting her back to the Kage as she scanned the room. The sun setting outside. Her long ponytail would trail down her back, covering slightly the Uchiha symbol on the back of her gi.

"Your village is well protected....the Demon Desert....it reminds me of the Forest of Death that surrounds the Village Hidden in the Leaves..they both seem to go on forever." she would turn around with both hands behind her back, walking right up to the Kage again. Standing nearly face to face. "I assume we both could exchange safe traveling routes through both the Forest of Death and the Demon Desert...for supplies, food, other goods.....right?" she would pause for awhile. Looking for a seat to take; but awaiting the offer from the Kage herself.

Aiyana was glad to hear Haru tell her companions to go out and enjoy the village. There were many things to do around the place, and it meant there was at least a glimmer of trust there if she was reading the event properly. The Uchiha female would apologize for her own silence so far, something that had not been rude given the situation, and would go on to give a few words on her wonderings of the current situation as well as ask about the chess set and the locations of the two villages and their respective natural defenses. "Your silence is nothing to apologize for. We are trained to be silent from a young age, all part of being stealthy, so I do not find it rude to be such for any amount of time."

After that, the female would point at the chair across from the chess table as she spoke some more. "Please, take a seat with me so we can talk more. We can play a bit of chess while we do so. I'm not as good as my tutor was, but it will help keep our minds sharp as we chat with each other." The Kage would wait for the other to sit first, it felt appropriate and polite to do such, and once the female from the Village Hidden in the Leaves sat down she would do the same.

"Both of our villages are, indeed, well-protected through natural means. Peace between our villages, peace between any villages, is good for all of them. Goods, services, food, anything can be traded between them. The wars and fighting have gone on so long, have been so brutal, that we are affecting the lives of everyone as well as the quality of the land we live upon." A moment of pause would be had, Aiyana making the first move on the chess game, before asking a simple question. "What do you think? Does your Kage believe such a thing to be a good idea? Or do you at least see the prosperity such a thing could bring?"
