Aiyana was excited! This was her first year participating in the Festival of Tails as the Kage of the village! The year before, the first year ever for the festival, had been a blast to help plan and gather events for. Being the main one in charge of those decisions had been even more fun! No expense had been fared, in fun activities nor protection, for this weeklong festival meant to bring smiles to those that came along. The female was dressed in her standard gear, though nine tails hung behind her from a rather impressive mimicry of the nine-tailed beast's tails while a mask sat atop her head ready to be placed on her face at a moments notice.

The female Kage was ready to take the day! With any luck, they would see a lot more visitors than they had the year before. A lot more time and effort had been put into relations with other villages, including letters sent to the Kages of each village to attempt talks of cease-fires, trade agreements, and possibly peace in the future. It would be nice to see outsiders come to the festival to have fun, it would mean people felt safe coming here without being one that originated from here!

Jin sighed for what seemed like the hundredth time, he was making his way towards his apartment. He had just been informed that he would be attending the festival of tails in suna. Don't get him wrong it wasn't like he hated going to suna, he just wasn't used to the swelting heat. He had no idea how they weren't melting over there.

Arriving at his place, Jin entered the main room, turning off his security seal, the seal was made by him about a year ago. It acted like a sensory system that locked down his door when someone not keyed into the seal via chakra signature whether they be civilian or not approached, after a few minutes a seal he had on his arm connected to the main seal at the apartment room would burn lightly feeling like a needle scratch, letting him know someone was there and would get more and more painful depending how much the person was trying to get into the room.

Dressed in a kimono, he turned the seal back on and left the apartment. Strolling towards the village gates, Jin took his time observing the village, waving at the kids that ran around playing whatever game they played.

SUNA VILLAGE

Looking around the village, Jin could admit he was impressed, there were stalls and games all over the place. The streets were set alit with beautiful lanterns. Everywhere he turned there were people dressed up in beautiful kimonos and little tailed beast accessories such as tails or masks in honour of the beasts.
He himself was wearing a cat mask along with two cat tails.

As he continued to walk around, he saw the host of this gracious event the kazekage herself. Deciding to thank her for the invite in order to further relations between the two villages as they weren't exactly allies as of yet, Jin thought it would benefical to get on the leaders good side, and with that made his way towards her. "Kazekage-sama I would like to thank you for inviting the mist to this amazing festival, I'm enjoying myself greatly." Jin graciously said to the kage who was clad in her gear and fox tails and mask that was to the side of her face.

Ronku was sporting a tank top that had the village logo neatly on the top right corner of the front of the shirt. A special tank top only is worn during special village-wide events to show his village spirit. He also wore his usual brown leather belt with blue jeans and flat black converse that cut off below his ankles and black socks.

Ronku sat like he did last year waiting for the shimmering "Festival of Tails", Ronku appreciated when the village came together especially when he as a young impressionable boy. Now that he was older Ronku was waiting for the real fun to begin, Ronku already saw some Sake on his stroll in and he knew as the night went on he was destined to make a fool out of himself. Ronku had a blanket draped over the sand and a picnic box inches in front of him. Ronku's mother packed him a lunch and a blanket to enjoy the festival without her since she was ill. Ronku watched all the kids running around and enjoying the festival with there pet masks and tails, it was a wholesome site.

Ronku opened the wooden basket containing his lunch and dug through all the goodies that his mom packed. After some serious decision making, he took out a fresh fruit that was pre-diced and packaged. Ronku broke open the seal of the package and the aroma filled the air around him. Ronku smiled as he grabbed bits of fruit one by one popping the little cubes in his mouth. Ronku gazed up as the cheering roared louder, it was the Kazekage, a shinobi he had heard only fables of. Ronku never had the privilege to meet her, nor did he feel privileged enough to since Ronku was just a poor, farmer, 21-year-old genin. Ronku watched as more and more ninja trickled in and a few headbands from other villages were sprinkled throughout the crowd, this was always a good sign of healthiness in the bonds between nations. However, Ronku was still very wary of other nations even if they had long been at peace, he grew slightly uneasy as he thought about all the kids that ran around rampant with so many unfamiliar faces.

Ronku wanted to relieve the pent up stress that his neurotic mind created. Ronku reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarillo and from the same pocket grabbed out a lighter and lit his cigarillo with a spark up and a few puffs. Ronku continued munching on the fruit in between puffs and attempted to enjoy the visuals of the festival the best he could.

When the Mizukage heard tail of an open festival celebrating tails in another country, her attendance became required. Sango would not be made to look bad as leader of her village no matter how much the last kage's aids and her anbu advised against this or to at least bring someone else to present as kage. Plus this festival was about tails and she had one of those making it even more necessary she attend in person as her full self. Although, she wouldn't be showing any tail here.

Carefully walking down the streets of sunagakure the kiri ninja was dressed in a simple sea green kimono with a large open white jacket draped atop her villages symbol on the back. Wearing that massive hat around this village during a festival? Didn't feel right, she wouldn't be able to enjoy it bumping into things wearing that monstrosity.

Long wavy hair lacking the normal pig tails Sango approached behind Jinjaku, tapping his shoulder briefly so she wouldn't startle the tall man with her presence. "I see you found her before me." the teenager laughed slightly coming to stand beside the jonin. "Hey, I'm Sango Ayame, Mizukage." It was actually kinda nice to have one of the few people who knew about her tail here when she first meets the other kage, so it worked out nicely.

Festival of Tails (Open, No Pressure) 933c9df7cc8cc1dfd57f6a68c4f3c56f

"This is going along pretty well, look at all the people here. I would like to bet that not everyone is here from suna and there are some people from other villages. "

Enade lived in this village for a long period of time, Suna was his true home. With that being said, he figured that he would be able to tell people from each other and notice if a person was from somewhere else. As he walked around, he wondered if he would finally get a chance to see the mysterious kage of this village. Some had some rumors about her when they were in the academy.

"They said that she swam through seas of blood with her awesome techniques. They also said that her taijutsu is so strong that one kick could destroy an army. They even said that she has the most intimidating face one has ever seen. "

This was all just rumors that he heard about the kage, but it still creeped him out a little bit. It was his hope that he wouldn't meet the Kage at a time that he ended up on her bad side.

"Ah well, let's get some candy. "

Enjoying the festival was something that he was looking forward to, Enade wasn't going to let anything stop him in that regard.

"I guess the kage isn't all bad if she's setting up an event to make sure everyone in Suna gets a chance to smile. We usually get a bad name from other villages..."

Haru would stand literally on top of the Kazekage's palace as her usual ponytail would blow in the wind. Her arms were crossed and although she had a serious expression somewhat; a small smile crept upon her face. She'd been sent in stead of the Hokage themselves; and after becoming somewhat of friends with the Kazekage herself on a previous diplomatic mission; the Leaf saw it only fit to send her as a show of goodwill.

Although truly; she only came to spy on the village as the head of ANBU Black Ops for Konoha. This was something she kept to herself, as she stood on the rooftop a cool breeze would blow on a desert wind. Passing through the whole village. The sound of children and people generally talking filled her senses with ambient noise and sights.

Deciding to find some good food or alcohol, either would be fine; she would perform a 'Body Flicker' technique from the roof of the Kazekage's palace and land somewhere within the crowd gathered.

She would move through with a serious look; one elbow resting on her sword as usual as she walked. She'd recently lost one of her best friends and since the funeral she hadn't really been in a talkative mood...well even less than usual. The only thing she could do was try to make herself feel better with the habits she'd formed. She knew it was senseless; but perhaps getting drunk would help her relax a little. Maybe some fried seafood or crabs to boot.

She would spot a familiar spot; one she'd been too when she'd first visited this village. The stone walkways would lead her up to it as she would enter and purchase a huge bottle of Sake. Walking through the village; she would eventually come to a fountain near the center of town. Cracking the bottle open; she would take a large swig and stare into the waters and her own reflection. Unable to move her eyes from herself, she merely wallowed in her own company as people all around her seemed to be having a good time. Within five minutes, she'd drank the whole thing and would calmly pull out a single Ryo.

Making a private wish for some kind of happiness or laughter to find her; she would flip the coin mid-air watching it twirl and land into the fountain with the wish in towe. She would turn the bottle label facing outward and then leave it on the fountain; empty.

She would now; a little bit loose but unaffected truly as she was an extreme drinker would make her way silently through the village, spotting a woman wearing the jacket of the Mizukage she would furrow her brow at her and continue walking straight past her. She wondered where the Kazekage was, perhaps her company would make Haru's current mood more personally bearable.

"All these people gathered....for what." she brooded to herself as she continued to walk alone.

It seemed that many that would come to this festival today would be directly interacting with the Kage for their own reasons! The first was one not a local, and the boy from the Village Hidden in the Mist would thank him for hosting the festival. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, and keep doing so!" The woman would turn to face him as she spoke, tails moving in response to greedily take up the new space they were now located, before making a small bow to him.

Not far behind the boy, a girl would tap him on the shoulder to speak to him before introducing herself as the Mizukage. A more formal bow would be had to her, tails behind her going wild with the movement, as she began to speak to her as well. "It is a pleasure to meet the Mizukage, Sango. I am Aiyana Kaguya, Kazekage. Though I believe you already knew that. After her bow, she would smile happily. "It's an honor to have someone as prestigious as you here today! I hope this is a good omen of relations between ourselves and our villages in the days to come." The woman had a letter for her sitting in her main office, stamped and ready to be delivered, but now that she was here she could simply tell her at the end of the festival tonight. Maybe she would offer to dance with her tonight; if she was okay with a dance with another female that was.

The words of others, those talking to themselves or too far or too depressed to come near, were unheard for the time being. If, or when, they came close the female would surely give them all the love she knew they deserved. Life was more than war, pain, and hurt; even if she had to prove that fact solely on her own!

"Now, my future Kitigakure friends, why don't we enjoy ourselves with the festival! I wouldn't mind hanging out with you all for your stay here in the village and lands around it." The female would gesture grandly, hips moving to shift the tails as needed with her motions as she made her point with a speech and sex appeal.

Aiyana had to wonder if her friend she had made from Konohagakure would be here this week as well. She had met Haru a while back and had told her she was invited to the village to visit and enjoy herself any time she wished. Sadly she had not seen or heard from her since then, a thing that disappointed her currently. She felt like they had something in common, but they had not quite gotten to know each other THAT well yet.

Feeling the tap behind his back Jin turned to see the young kage standing behind him with a grin on her face, Kage-sama it's a pleasure to see you again, I have indeed. Jin replied adjusting his position to cover the kage slightly. Although he knew she could take care of herself it was his loyalty to his village and kage that promoted his actions.

Watching the interaction between the two kage, he was inwardly pleased that there seemed to be peace between both villages and no hidden threats beneath their words and actions as was such in the past.

"If I am allowed I would love to join you both in this joyous occasion." Jin said as he glanced at his kage awaiting her answer.

Ronku slowly but surely stood up from the sandy ground. He tucked his legs into his chest and extended his arms past his legs to act as a counterbalance, he launched up sending the sand, covering his jean pants, flying in all directions. Ronku adjusted his cigarillo to the left corner of his mouth and let out occasional puffs through a small crack in his lips. The massive bellows created a wake of heavy smoke as he made his way to a Sake bar. A small bar rested just far enough to not be in the heart of the chaos, but a safe distance to observe the village festivities.

Ronku whispered in a deep voice to the bartender, "Give me your strongest, cheapest, piss water, thank you." Ronku twisted his neck over his shoulders and glanced back at the festival. Ronku saw the Kazekage showing a very deep and emotional side, something that was hard to fathom for a farmworker. Ronku always stayed well-composed and could not imagine growing the courage to go out and dance with the masses.

Ronku swiveled back around to his drink that smelled like lighter fluid that he often used to burn brush piles. The nostalgic smell was the only enjoyable part of the drink that stood before him in a gourd, with a plug protruding from the top. Ronku popped the plug out and took a deep whiff of the potent alcohol. Ronku whispered to himself "this might get interesting." Ronku dropped the gourd back, and he sunk into his chair and the yellow drink waterfalled into his mouth with some excess bubbles and droplets covering Ronku's face. Ronku violently chugged it causing his whole body to gulp causing the chair beneath him to raddle slightly. A deep bellowing like a beating of a drum sounded throughout the small bar as the alcohol was guzzled down his throat. Ronku approximated he was roughly halfway through the gourd, and he slammed the gourd back onto the table.

Rapidly Ronku took out one of the meals his mom had packed before he was too drunk to care about nutrition it was time to devour his food. Ronku opened the small cloth wraps that had a bow tied in butcher string to hold the cloth in place. As Ronku unwrapped the cloth the steak inside began to become exposed in all of its juiciness and strong fragrances. Ronku grabbed the t bones steak by the bone and with his massive fingers began eating the steak straight off the bone. Ronku looked back over the crowd as he finished his steak and felt the alcohol in his body start to boil and radiate beneath his skin.
