Open Lands

Open Travel's used if you don't want to go sightseeing elsewhere. Any part of the Open Lands forum can be used to travel/you can just post in here. Much of the known world is dominated by the 3 major villages while others are unknown posers or undiscovered treasures. Here are forests/deserts/islands/sea/skies/any scenic route.

Land of Rain

Dirtiness has always plagued this land always under threat of constant rain. Crime/memories/sustainable economy all wash away daily. The irrigation barely helps despite metal everywhere that usually block out the joyful sun. Home to a branching "Amegakure".

Land of Frost

The Land of Frost is a treacherous land with a small ninja populace. Frost and ice cover the majority of the area. The leaders of the land tend to abandon ship easily and they do not honor deals.

Land of Waves

Land with many rivers running through it. Watatsumi "tutelary deity of the sea" is worshiped here and residents still hold respect for marine life. An expanding land with many shipwrights along with manpower for building. They do not necessarily use shinobi forces. With the global climate it's relatively safe for it to not depend on ninja to grow. Unfortunately the better environment than the Mist Village is a subtle threat.

Land of Moon

Per the name this land looks like a moon from high up. A smaller nation considered an island. Many expensive weapons come from this island nation and it's an overall rich nation. Beach resorts dot the edges of the island while in the capital a royal family resides peacefully. Conflict originating here is rare with the majority having a rich lifestyle.

Land of Iron

Land of Iron is ruled by military force. The shogunate is taken by the most proficient at the art of war in families who casually sacrifice their own. Snow covers the country and a primary base of operations is the Three Wolves (三狼Sanrō) which are 3 facing mountain maws.

Land of Grass

The Land of Grass is an effeminate place with many open-natured public places. It's home to Takigakure and the Blood Prison. Blood Prison has been made canon in several ways. By necessity the villages maintain the Blood Prison together for shinobi criminals. Corruption and acquiring information is possible at the Blood Prison but it cannot be broken into. The Land of Grass on the other hand is susceptible to invasion as normal.
