Who was Haru kidding, she used this as an excuse to get out of the village. Even though she had two jonin with her who's names she didn't know as an 'added security measure', she was still a 26 year old woman. Despite her rank, she was gifted; extremely so for her age. Both of her jonin guards were older than her in fact, but not by very much.

Entering through the gates of Kirigakure was an experience like no other, it was very different than the leaf. It was very beautiful, and sailing there had been a lot of fun. Even she cracked with her stoic attitude sometimes, and most people seemed to enjoy it when she did for some reason. However, until she accomplished her...goal. She would need to be more serious in nature. Long term plans often didn't work out without commitment.

"Well, I see that you guys really are going to stalk me the whole time....." she said after the two leaf ninja managed to get through security with her and continued to follow her rather than act like tourists. Both of them would snap to attention and salute her as she made a disappointed face her mission to loosen them up failing immediately.

Some passersby began to stare at them as a few Mist ninja came up to them through the crowd.

"Uchiha Haru, we're here to escort you to the Cold Forge." one of them said in a somewhat serious tone. The other one looked relaxed, as did a third woman ninja. With a nod, Haru would come with them as her Leaf ninja followed in step through the bustling city on a cold fall day.

Making their way through the village, Haru was surprised at what she saw. In the history books, the Hidden Mist was less...attractive. As studious as she was; she was expecting grungy, scary looking ninja wielding weapons at nearly every turn; however, she barely saw anyone who looked super threatening. She also spotted off in the distance what looked like some kind of crazy water park; or amusement park of some kind or sort.

"Amazing..." she said to herself as she walked along a path that led up to a huge building the likes of which she'd never laid eyes on before. Outside there were Mist ninja posted at nearly every turn. This was more like what she'd been expecting. The two jonin behind her were carrying a package that was wrapped up tightly, and neatly. It seemed to be carrying a weapon of some kind. She would cross her armored arms and turn to them. "I'll take that from here." Haru would say as she reached out toward the wrapped up item. Taking it from their hands; as soon as she did, she would gather a more serious look on her face. Unwrapping it from it's cloth slowly she would reveal a chokuto style sword as she would grip it with her hands and raise it. It was in poor sorts; the blade all but ready to rust away. Still a sword however. The grip and hilt of the blade was somewhat worn and tattered from years of use.

She wondered if her father would be upset that she had brought the sword he'd given her here to the this village to be worked on instead of getting it done in the Leaf. However, she didn't really truly care that much. With a simple flip and twist, she felt the weight on it. Needed work. Passing it back to the two jonin she would allow them to wrap it back up before taking it back again.

"Is that the weapon in question?" one of the Mist ninja asked. He himself was wielding what appeared to be some kind of giant sword that caught Haru's eye the moment she saw him. She would be curious as to how good he was with the weapon but wouldn't let it distract her.

"Yes indeed, it needs work but it's from my old man." she said as she held it up. After this, they would make their way up a long set of stairs. Mist ninja flanked them the whole way up. When they finally reached the entrance of a huge; building with ornate style designs and the Hidden Mist symbol emblazoned into stone above it; Haru was awestruck for only a moment. "So this is the Cold Forge..."

She thought upon what she'd read about the 7 swordsmen. Wondering if they too had ever been to this place.

Stepping into the large room, several forges being worked by Ice Release users were seen. Some were flat table type forges with different shapes of weapons cut into them; some were actual furnaces that seemed to brim with frosty energies as weapons were dipped into and out of them. Cold forging. Astonishing. She would remain with a serious face on as she merely looked onward at the process before her.

Over and over she continued to watch and learn. Eventually, she would be approached by a ninja who looked a lot older than anyone else around. Yet he was still in good shape.

"You must be Uchiha Haru, come all the way from Konoha have you? I'm the Forge Master who'll be helpin you out today." he was pretty jolly in his speech and seemed to have a good attitude. Eventually, the guy would look over her shoulder curiously, spotting the jonin with her, and then his eyes would land on the package she was carrying. As his eyes locked on he looked up to her as if to ask for permission before extending his hand to check it out.

With a confident look she would hand it to him. He would unwrap it from it's cloth and look somewhat surprised.

"It's been awhile since I've seen a chokuto style blade." he turned it in his hand as he lifted it up out of it's wrappings. "Yes...yes, I think I can work a few miracles on this." he said as he looked over to Haru. "With your permission of course, Uchiha Haru." as he said this she would wave both hands in front of herself.

"Of course, of course. That's why I'm here, no need to be so formal." she cracked a small grin for him to hopefully loosen him up. As she did this he would grin and let out a laugh at the last thing she'd said.

"Well, the dammit lemme get crackin on this thing!" with that he would walk off with her blade as she would let out a sigh and a shrug. Walking off she would wonder what else she could do while waiting on her weapon to be finished. When it clicked. She was in the Hidden Mist. She would have to find some seafood here....no, she would find some seafood here. "Jonin! We must acquire fine dining!" she would randomly yell as they jumped confused at the sound of her yelling, but quickly snapped too.

"Understood!" with that, she would follow them back down the grand steps of the forge.
